we have a kicker! I think Baby Mo is a fan of pizza, I just finished a slice and he/she is kicking away. In the past week I've felt him/her more and more but today is the first day that I've felt him/her while going about my normal activities. Super cool!
In other news, I'm starting to look pregnant instead of over-fed. At 18.5 weeks, baby should be around 6 inches and 7 ounces! Only 150 days to go!

May 22nd
So what are your plans for the 22nd? Well I mean if we are still around and all... Yes yes i'm speaking about all the hype of May 21st. I mean don't get me wrong, if by some miraculous way he is right (which would contradict the Bible) I guess I would be eating my words... But then again I'd be doing it from Glory Land... So..
I guess my biggest complaint about this Harold Camping scandal is the fact that these things only succeed in making the rest of us Christians look like loony tunes. In a time where Christianity is such a necessity in our world and when we should be working our hardest to share the Gospel, one man can come out and single-handedly kick Christianity in the face by looking like a fruit cake. From book-burning to billboards of the coming rapture there will always be someone in the Christian faith that somehow ends up focusing on the wrong things. Get back to the basics, "Love God, love others"...
I thought I would make a last minute bucket list of things to do... You know just in case..
-Mow the yard (it really needs to be done, and no telling how high it will be by October)
-Update my Hulu queue (there's a new Modern Family in there)
-Watch Avatar on blu-ray with the new Bose sound system.
-Pick my garden (granted it wont be that important, but I've waited a long time to be able to do that)
-Regret cutting my hair (I would've been growing it out for a couple years if I had known sooner)
-Jam out on the guitar (need to keep my fingers fresh, I'm really hoping for a Taylor when I get to heaven)
-Freshen up on my big name Christians (I want to make sure I can recognize the big guys!)
I also want to watch the last two Lord of the Rings movies, but I'll probably wait till the 22nd to do that, they're pretty long and I'd hate to waste time....
Do you have any last minute ideas?

One year
1 year... 365 days... It doesn't seem possible. This weekend Meg and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I guess they say time flies when you're having fun!
Yes this weekend we took off and got away to celebrate our first year of marriage. It was a really nice getaway. We stayed at the same hotel that we spent the first night of our honeymoon, which was very nice! It was nice to be able to just spend some time together away. It was the most beautiful weekend for us at the beach!
Thursday evening coming into town we stopped and had ice cream, then checked into the hotel, took a walk on the beach, just enjoyed the fresh Gulf air! Friday morning we went up the street for breakfast and then we enjoyed the rest of our day out in the sun. We finished off our Friday with dinner at a little pizza place called Taste of Italy, which is also where we shared our first dinner as a married couple 364 days before. It was a great way to think back at the memories of our first night together. Saturday when we got up we got everything packed up and then enjoyed the pool for a couple hours before it was time to check out. Our anniversary weekend getaway was just what we needed, and Longboat Key didn't disappoint.
What do you mean you wanna know about the presents? Geez nosey.... Fine! Nothing too fancy, I got Meg a classical, sappy, sweet, lovey card. Hah, ya right. I obviously found a hilarious card that involved undressing :) and then to make up for that I bought her a Willow Tree statue with the Husband and Pregnant Wife standing together. Meg got me a sweet card, no inappropriateness, :( and then she got me a new game that we both like to play! It was good times!
Overall while I am still having a hard time believing that we've been married an entire year, it was really fun to be able to celebrate our anniversary! And oh yea.. The cake still tasted pretty good. (kind of freaky eating year old cake, but whatever.)

A Day Divided
5-5-11... May 5th... Cinco de Mayo, living in an agriculture based county in Florida, Cinco De Mayo is a well known holiday. The music will be loud and the flags flown.... However, today is also a little lessly known as the National Day of Prayer. On this 60th National Day of Prayer it is too easy to think of topics to pray for. I'm not going to attempt to make a list of the prayer needs in our nation because I would be typing all week, but I do want to challenge you to take a couple of minutes to pray for a few of our nation's needs. From our President, our Government, our Military, our Law Enforcement, our County officials, our City officials (and potential city officials), to our teachers, our Churches, and our Preachers. In a time of worldly devastation, let us pray for each other. The tragedy in Japan, the conflicts in the middle east, and the devastating weather systems that continue to reek havoc on the US. With so much going on around the world don't let your life be too busy to pray for others. A lot of times we see Christian organizations doing relief efforts and think, "oh yea, that's right, Christians gettin' it done!" However, I'm sure you have heard of the Red Cross, one of their larger contributors is the American Atheists Organization. For every good thing a Christian organization does, I guarantee you there is a non-believer based organization doing the same. In a time where our society flooded the streets in praise over a non-believers death, I feel like we should declare National Year of Prayer... Ezekiel 33:11 says, "As surely as I live says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?". As believers we need to step up to the plate and begin to storm our Nation before it's too late..
Sorry I went all preacher..
Make today a day of prayer!
