So a few weeks ago we decided to take a spur of the moment long weekend vacation to Cocoa Beach, Fl. Meg had only been to the east coast once, and couldn't really remember it that much, I had been to Cocoa before and really enjoyed my stay there, so we decided to make it an East coast adventure. I soon came to realize that when someone grows up going to Siesta Key Beach all the time (Rated, I believe, one of the best in the Nation) they apparently become spoiled on what the beach is suppose to be like. Meg did have a good time, but I could tell she is more of a "Gulf Girl" for sure.

One highlight of our trip, was on the way up. A friend of mine had informed me of a rather "different" ice cream place in Kissimmee. It was an awesome little place and had some great ice cream, but the true "difference" is the way they make it. They put a liquid ice cream mix in a bowl and then freeze it in front of you using liquid nitrogen. You can get all kinds of toppings mixed in and it tastes great. The environment is exceptionally neat though with all the fog from liquid nitrogen, and it keeps the whole place rather cool too.
