Sunshine... in a cup!

One of the best perks to living in Florida is fresh oranges! Since Daniel loves fresh squeezed juice, I thought I would spend some time juicing a few of Florida's finest. This vitamin C packed fruit is the perfect, natural way for us to gain a tasty immune system boost! Yay for being healthy, yummy, natural and frugal all at once.

All total I used around 20 oranges to make a half gallon of OJ. I used a few naval oranges which are considerably bigger than their "early" counterparts. It may take more if you have smaller oranges.

I love how easy this kitchen aid attachment makes juicing. I keep my mixer on the counter year round, so it's a snap to attach the juicer to the front of it and get to work.

All in all, it was thirty minutes well spent. I have a happy husband and a happy tummy! :)
