Getting to meet some cool peeps

So on September 11, 2010 we went to Night of Joy in Orlando at The Magic Kingdom. We went as chaperones with our church's youth group, and for every certain amount of kids, you get bracelets for the adults. Our church ended up with only four bracelets, but our youth pastor, JWo, is super cool and offered two of them to Meg and I. These bracelets doubled as a fast pass for any of the rides and for a way to get into the "leader lounge". The leader lounge was an area to get away from all the havoc and to relax for a little while. They had some nice snack foods and some awesome lemonade, but what I really liked about it was that they had small acoustic concerts in there all night by a lot of todays top christian artists. A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Youth Music Vault who brought it all together!

For me this was far better then riding rides or standing in a huge crowd to see what look like stick figures up on stage a mile away singing. I truly love music and would be willing to say it is a big part of my life, so for me to be able to meet some of todays top artists, like Chris August, was an amazing time! Also have to say thanks to my wife for putting up with me during this time. I know for her, she would've much rather been out riding the rides at her all time favorite theme park Magic Kingdom, but instead she stayed by my side! We did have a small compromise time though where we ran out and rode Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Thanks again to Youth Music Vault for putting it all together, Pastor J.Wo for hookin us up with the bracelets to get in, and Meg for being the best wife ever! and also to all the artists who took the time to come out and share with us!
